Instead, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Serhiy Mironov joined the ranks of the 241st Brigade of the Kyiv terrorist defense.
Serhiy was a scholar, activist and author of the blog “Vanishing Kyiv”. His friends say that he knew the codes to almost every entrance of old Kyiv houses, and had keys to some yards.
Defending his country, protecting what was dear and close to his heart, standing bravely to the end, Serhiy died. The defender received injuries that became fatal for him.
Each loss is very painful, but we will never forget our heroes! Glory to the defenders!

Він міг би й надалі реставрувати старі двері, перетворюючи їх у мистецтво, проводити екскурсії вулицями Києва та розказувати у своєму блозі про незвідані куточки міста. Натомість Сергій Міронов на початку повномасштабного вторгнення вступив у лави 241-ї бригади тероборони Києва.
Сергій був науковцем, активістом та автором блогу «Зникаючий Київ». Його знайомі розповідають, що він знав коди ледве не до кожного під’їзду старих київських будинків, а від деяких дворів мав ключі.
Захищаючи свою країну, захищаючи те, що було рідне й близьке серцю, стоячи хоробро до кінця, Сергій загинув. Захисник отримав поранення, які стали для нього смертельними.
Кожна втрата бʼє дуже болісно, але ми ніколи не забудемо наших героїв! Слава захисникам!
