Mariupol ReBorn – Mariupol revival program launched in Ukraine
Mariupol ReBorn is the world’s largest initiative to rebuild a destroyed city since the Second World War. Mariupol ReBorn is already supported by a number of international partners, large Ukrainian businesses, the state and other cities. Among the partners: The World Bank, USAID and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with which a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed today, the Mariupol City Council reported.
“This is a new chapter in the modern history of Ukraine and Europe. The city, which became a symbol of a ruthless war, will become a symbol of the revival of Ukraine. The signing of the memorandum with the EBRD is an important stage on this way,” the mayor stressed.

Mariupol ReBorn – наймасштабніша в світі ініціатива відбудови зруйнованого міста від часів Другої світової війни. Наразі Mariupol ReBorn вже підтримує ряд міжнародних партнерів, великий український бізнес, держава та інші міста. Серед партнерів: Світовий банк, організація USAID та Європейський банк реконструкції та розвитку, з яким сьогодні було підписано Меморандум про співпрацю, повідомили у міськраді Маріуполя.
«Це нова глава в сучасній історії України та Європи. Місто, яке стало символом безжальної війни, стане символом відродження України. Підписання меморандуму с ЄБРР – це важливий етап на цьому шляху», – підкреслив мер.
